This is because, around then is when I turned eighteen, meaning that I was an adult meaning that I was a man now. More so, this gave me a chance and a leave to explore in quite a number of aspects in life which included even intimacy! With a national identity card in my wallet, I was allowed to do many things including driving officially without fear of traffic cops because of being a minor. This combined with the fact that I was in college where you meet and mingle with people from far made my life then very exciting and thus memorable.
I just recently moved to Oregon and I’m just starting to believe that it really does rain here 90% of the time. I thought people were just exaggerating and it only rained 2-3 days of the week. But no it’s more like 7, not that it rains all day every day. It just rains everyday at least once. I’m not one of those people that let the weather control their mood. I believe it’s too unpredictable to let that be my motivator or not. Everyone keeps telling me that at least I’m not in Michigan with all that snow! Little do they know that I love snow, and so does my husky. But we will see it again and be living/ shoveling is around for many years to come. So I can live one year, on Christmas with out snow and be ok with it.
Tonight I’m going to a birthday party for my new friend. I’m going to wear this awesome patterned dress I got that looks like it’s from the 70’s. I wore it for Halloween too and tied for 3rd place with my boyfriend. I got these really awesome boots from my mom. They are straight from the 70’s, thigh high, black suede, no heel boots and they come up to right where my dress ends. I’m going to wear some great dangling earring and a cute hipster chain belt also. My roommate has a cute little black jacket that’ll I’ll throw on as well.
My closest friends are amazing people, with many wonderful qualities to extol. First and foremost, each of my close friends are trustworthy people. They can be counted on in a pinch, and will never betray confidences. They are both good listeners and engaging speakers. They are all intelligent people who can easily hold up their end of a challenging debate. They’re not violent, they know how to disagree without arguing, and they maintain respect even if their opinions differ from mine. Perhaps the best quality each of them possesses, though, is that they understand the reciprocal nature of friendship; they are as much my friend as I am theirs.
The last book that I read was Rick Riordan’s “Lost Heroes”. It was incredibly enjoyable to read. It is based of off Greek and Roman mythology and very good accurate, at that. I have always been a reader, one of my most favorite hobbies, and I am a big fan of Riordan’s. He always couples fact with fiction in a very readable way. “Lost Heroes” was always a page turner, not at all dull or boring. But the thing I liked the best was more personal than others, one of the main characters was named the same as my thirteen year old daughter. I kept picturing her in the battle scenes, kind of laughing, but having a great time anyway!
I like to dine out the best at a little chain called Costa Vida. It’s a nice time to not have to cook and get a healthy meal all the same. They make their own tortillas fresh, and they are heavenly. Their salads are unparalleled and at our hometown Costa Vida’s you can’t get better service. They are primarily Mexican food, and believe me, no one’s griping about it. They definitely know what they’re doing and it’s an enjoyable atmosphere. My daughter, without fail, always asks for their food even when the restaurant is closed. I don’t know how we’d handle it if we didn’t have access to a Costa Vida’s!
